The Vande Bharath Express, previously known as Train 18 is a semi high speed train managed by Indian Railways on 5 routes as of November 2022. Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharath express is the first semi speed train in South India.
The train runs six days a week, barring Wednesday similar to Shatabdi Express.
Timings of the Train:
Leaves Chennai central at 5.50 am and reaches Bangalore at 10.20am and arrives in Mysuru by 12.20pm. The total time taken is 6 hours and 30 mins.
It's return journey from Mysore starts at 1.05pm, reaches Bangalore at 2.55pm and arrives in Chennai by 7.30pm.
